the pursuit of happiness

This is my dear cousin Logan, a gem of a child and little ray of sunshine. At the age of two Logan was diagnosed with Idiocentric 15. Idic 15 is a rare genetic mutation where the child is born with an extra chromosome in their DNA. Their 15th chromosome is doubled and inverted. Not many Idic 15 children live past 20. There are only 5 kids in B.C. with Idic 15. The most recent development in Logan's case has been the increasing frequency in seizures. He had his first one last August and they have increased to now only a month inbetween. Logan's last seizure lasted an hour (seizure's typically only last 5 minutes). This post is to ask for prayers for Logan and his family. Two months ago they moved down from Whitehorse, Yukon to Chiliwack and it hasn't been easy settling in. Please spare a few moments to pray for Logan's safety and continued health, as well as for the Kalnicki family as they continue to search for ways to help Logan. Thank you so much.
