A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build up,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
What does the worker gain from his toil? I have seen the burden of God that has been laid on men. He has made everything beautiful in its time.
Ecclesiastes 3

changed

Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart,

naught be all else to me, save that thou art;

thou my best thought by day and by night,

waking and sleeping, thy presence my light.

Old Books and Poems

Last week when I was empty out the bookshevles I found a bunch of old books. I love old books, they smell good. Anyways there were these two old poem books that my mom had as a little kid. They are falling apart at the seams and one is from 1905. So this is one of those poems from my good smelling, falling apart book. enjoi...

THE LAND OF NOD

From breakfast on through all the day

At home among my friends I stay;

But every night I go abroad

Afar into the land of Nod.

All by myself I have to go,

With none to tell me what to do-

All alone beside the streams

And up the mountain-side of dreams.

The strangest things are there for me,

Both things to eat and things to see,

And many frightening sights abroad

Till morning in the land of Nod.

Try as I like to find the way,

I never can get back by day,

Nor can remember plain and clear

The curious music that I hear.

No greater joy
Is there than this
To know for what
We're meant to live
To hold Your hand
To touch Your face
To find ourselves
In loves embrace
I want to stand before the King
Join in the song that heaven sings
I want to hold the hand that holds the world
I want to know the mystery
Reach out and touch the majesty
I want to hold the hand tht holds the world
No greater love
Could be bestowed
That You would name us as your own
Your daughters sing
Your sons rejoice
They gather here before Your throne
You are, You are
The author of creation
We are, the chrildren of your heart
You are, You are,
The light of all the heaven
We rise, to worship all You are

Time is the one thing we cannot stop. We cannot go back and we cannot
go forward. Our future is in the past and our past is in the future.

a little piece from a land far away....

Tu justicia es justicia eterna y tu ley a verdad.~ Salmos 119:142

This verse was on the wall of the church in Honduras. It means "Your righteousness is everlasting and you law is true" Psalm 119:142. God's righteousness is higher than the heavens and wider than universe, how great is His love. have a good long weekend. luv, jess
